1. Who processes your data

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is COSMOS INTERNATIONAL, LDA, company number 518689204, with its registered office in Portugal, hereinafter COSMOS.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide voluntarily and the technical data strictly necessary for the website to work:

• Identification and contact data: name, company, email address and telephone number.
• Information about the project: the answers given in the diagnosis and any description you send us.
• Technical browsing data: IP address, device type, browser and pages visited.

We do not collect special categories of personal data or data relating to minors.

3. What we use the data for

• Responding to requests for contact, quotes or a diagnosis.
• Preparing and presenting commercial proposals.
• Carrying out and following up the projects contracted.
• Analysing website use in aggregate form, in order to improve it.

We do not sell, rent or pass on personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. On what legal basis

Processing is based on the consent you give when submitting a form, on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps where a commercial relationship already exists, and on the legitimate interest of COSMOS in understanding and improving the use of its own website.

5. For how long

Contact data from enquiries that do not result in a contract is kept for up to 24 months. Client data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the legal periods applicable in tax and accounting matters. Once those periods end, the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Who we share it with

We may use processors who provide us with hosting, email delivery, analytics and communication services. These processors handle the data only on instruction from COSMOS and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. Whenever there is a transfer outside the European Economic Area, we ensure the safeguards required by the GDPR.

We use cookies necessary for the website to work and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your preferences at any time in your browser settings. Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using the website.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or improper disclosure, including encrypted connections, access control and regular backups.

This policy may be updated whenever justified. The version in force is the one published on this page, showing the date it was last updated.
